Ganesh, Ganesha, Ganesa, Vinayaka, Pillaiyar Amulets Coming Soon

In the next week or so we'll have some more Thai amulets for sale at the main store. I noticed some very nice Ganesh (Hindu Elephant God) amulets at the temple and I'll have some photos up for sale sometime soon.

Ganesh is the blue or red elephant that you sometimes see at Buddhist temples in Thailand - and definitely in India. Ganesh is also called "Ganesha, Ganesa, Vinayaka, and Pillaiyar."

Ganesh is thought of as the "remover of obstacles" and difficulties. Some call him the lord of beginnings. The Lord of Obstacles. Many Hindus and Thai Buddhists in the Theravada tradition believe that the Ganesha will bring them good luck by removing obstacles in their path and allowing them to naturally reach their highest levels of attainment - spiritually and materially.
